The Hurrycane - Lack of customer service

1.3
Details
My Hurrycane -- apparently the original model -- lost one of its rubber feet. I've read reviews that replacement feet for another "Freedom" model work, except they come with the wrong screws. I used the company's online information request form to ask about this, giving them my email address. A week later, I've gotten no response. Today I called their customer service number. Was on hold about 15 minutes before I gave up. So are us senior citizens on fixed incomes expected to buy a new cane whenever the rubber feet wear out or go AWOL? This is not ethical behavior in a business that caters to us!

User's recommendation: Don't buy a Hurrycane, unless you don't mind replacing the whole thing every six months.

The Hurrycane - Don't buy, it does not work as advertised

The cane does not pivot, no amount of twisting and turning will get it do as advertised!! A waste of money as I bought this one for my husband when he already had a cane, but this one was suppose to pivot and thought would be safer and better for him to use as he is not as steady on his bad leg and this type of cane would give him better stability, but I wasted my money !!

The Hurrycane - Go with a standard cane.

My husband meant well in purchasing s Hurricane for me. There are several problems: 1. I am 4’11” the cane doesn’t adjust for shorter folks 2. People hurrying around handicapped tend to step on the 3 prong standup causing the user to trip. I use this cane at church, grocery store. 3. If you’re not on a paved or concrete surface it can get caught on something and give it’s user a tumble.

The Hurrycane - Cane is ok - Lifetime warranty is hot air.
My wife purchased a Hurrycane about 5 years ago after a hip replacement. It worked ok. In June of 2019 she had her other hip replaced. As we were adjusting the height of the cane, the cord on the inside broke and the button that locks the cane in place disappeared somewhere in its innards. When she originally purchased the cane she was told it had a lifetime warranty. She called Hurrycane to inquire. They denied her claim and offered her $10 off a new hurrycane.

The Hurrycane - Total lack of response from Hurrycane!

Reported a defect/flaw in Hurrycane product, complaint was directed to their "call center" who responded that my complaint was being forwarded to Hurrycane......gee, I am still waiting after two weeks for their response to defective product and my injured back! Anyone else encounter this issue with Hurrycane? The height adjustment pin snapped on my cane causing the cane to collapse......

The Hurrycane - Broken adjustable height pin

Have several Hurrycanes, minimal use of each until recently, when the height adjustable pin broke on one of them, causing me to twist my back causing further pain due to spinal stenosis and arthritic condition. The failure of the adjustment pin appears to be a defect in the cane itself and causes it to be untrustworthy. Hopefully, this potential flaw in design or construction can be corrected? Difficult to contact Hurrycane direct as calls are directed to a call center and there is a marked lack of customer service available!. I suggested I return the broken item but was told that it was not necessary that they could determine any problem themselves....... Hopefully, someone in authority will contact me for details? I wonder....... Anyone else with this problem?
